PREACHING THE GOSPEL AND BEARING FRUITS (THE PRIMARY DUTY OF EVERY CHRISTIAN –EVERY OTHER PURSUIT OF LIFE IS SECONDARY)

“Go therefore and make disciple of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age. Amen” (Matt.28:19-20)

The issue of preaching the gospel and living righteous and holy has become the major topic and issue contending in the Body of Christ. Many believe that a Christian main role is to be righteous and holy, others believe that preaching the gospel is not by force or not for everyone saying a man’s lifestyle can even preach meaning u may not need to preach before people change.

While all this school of thought are good and important the fact remains that the gospel is the main work every Christian should engage in because this is where a man can be rewarded effectively by God has a fruitful Christian and it is only words that are spoken and communicated well with power and conviction that can save someone because it was until God said let they be light that creation stated. Before then the spirit of God was just roaming round the earth waiting for the spoken word. So in all over the nations the Holy Spirit is hovering round the world waiting for the original gospel to be spoken and lives will be saved. 

Many believers are not sensitive to the fact that they are many families held under the bondage of darkness, sickness, fear and demonic oppression. People held under addiction to smoking, drunkenness, drugs, immorality (fornication, adultery, masturbation/pornography, same sex intercourse) and more bondage of darkness. Churches and believers who practice Christianity as a doctrine and religious philosophy but no manifestation or experiential reality or what is  being preached, sinners come to church the same way and go the same people held by darkness come and go back the same. 

All this draws a call that only the gospel can save the world that is why Jesus implore us to preach it with all urgency.

          Every Christian born of God is mandated as a necessity to preach the gospel whether you are a civil servant, businessman, teacher or internet operator, do not just think all in life is just to make money, feed your family and carter for loved ones, while all this relentless sacrifice is good and a necessity; beyond it lies a mandate upon your life to preach the gospel, so wherever you find yourselves have this vision that you are there to save men. Spend time to talk to your colleagues about Christ, comfort those who weep and invite your colleagues to a place of worship where you know their spiritual life will be helped and with this you are partnering with God to save Men.

BEARING FRUITS A PREREQUISITE

          Many believers give this excuse that they cannot preach when their life is not in order, yes very good that’s why you should understand what it is to bear fruits for God. Many also say you must only be righteous and Holy but that is not your main role on earth.

“I am the vine,ye are the branches;

He that abideth in me, and I in him,

the same bringeth forth much fruit; for

Without me ye can do nothing; (John.15:5)

From this scripture you will understand that one who abides in God daily in his word, prayers and evangelism naturally bears fruits worthy of righteousness not as a religious doctrine but as a lifestyle which shows the light of God written laws on earth. 

The presence of God is the only thing that can change a man. Righteousness and holiness only flows through you when you are constantly feeding from the lord, abiding in him and yielding to the instructions of the Holy Spirit and forming a right consecration in life. So as you behold God daily through His word, prayers and worship you are being transformed in your inner man, you begin to bear fruit worthy of righteousness you start to find favor before God and men you cease to condemn people, live self righteous or argue irrelevant discussions. 

The Glory of God begins to manifest in you and with your fruitful lifestyle and constant propagating of the gospel of Christ out of compassion and love  with your lifestyle that men see as the hard copy of the message you preach they are drawn to God, because a Christian life is meant to attract men not to repeal them and his preaching deliver men from the bondage of sin and the power of the devil.

 Do not wait for your life to be right in your own eyes before u preach because if you continue waiting till you die you will never preach So I implore you to arise from any mindset hindering the work of God in you pick up a bible, preach the gospel and be a tool of God redemption work for mankind who is being saved because the gospel must be preached with all urgency and conviction. Enough of living for pleasure or are u scared that people will not change. I tell you that God is ready ever than before to respond powerfully in the harvest of souls when the original gospel is being preached. The Gospel is not condemnation but the message of love that unveils someone to what God has done for us through Christ Jesus. The massage is the same. Jesus saves.
