EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE AND THE REASON WHY A TRUE BELIEVER SHOULD COVER THEIR SHEET DURING EXAM AND DON'T CHEAT

Examination practice is a punishable offence in every institute of learning which has destroyed the assimilation process of a student and caused many students to be expelled or punished by the school authorities. Many students who are faced with though times in the exam Hall normally resort into cheating which involves carrying micro chips:(little pieces of note), impersonation, exchange of answer sheet and copy/paste:( telling or receiving answers from someone).

While all these things may be justified by many students who see it as a normal practice in school as an alternative for passing exams. Even as the main role of a Christian is to propagate the gospel and advance the kingdom of Christ on earth for the salvation of Mankind we should show forth the righteousness of God’s written laws through our lifestyle A true believer shuns such practices in the exam Hall even telling a friend answer In the exam Hall. Below are the various reasons why a Christian should shun such practices.

 1. SELF CONFIDENCE AND DETERMINATION.

        The first reason why a Christian should not cheat in the exam Hall or even tells or listen to answer from a friend even to his disadvantage is that it builds confidence in oneself later in life and makes a student to be more responsible in their studies by not depending on anyone but himself alone which builds trust in his abilities

 2. OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS MORE BLESSED THAN COMPROMISING (ROM.13)

        Examination malpractice is a sin in the eyes of God because it is against his will so as a believer u should please God rather than men even if not to cheat may cause u to go to fail.            We don't cheat not because we don't want to go to hell or receive favor from God far from that. But having this understanding that cheating is an act of compromise and disobedience to God so Even if your best friend is asking you for answer u choose to rather please God than Men. (1Sam.15:20). 

       Many believers have being criticized and persecuted by their fellow students for this stand because they think they are wicked, self Righteous or not caring. But the truth is sometimes  bitter and a  true child of God must stand for the truth and be ready for opposition  because if u are to love God u chose rather to obey him than please your friends. In the eyes of God a student who cheats to get an A in the exam may be celebrated by men but in d eyes of God that A is failure because it is false. Sometimes to be a man of truth and be faithful does not just entails mere confession of faith but standing for the truth and pleasing God through your lifestyle.

3 BUILDING ONES INTEGRITY AS A MAN OF TRUTH IN THE NEAREST FUTURE.

            “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter”. (Isaiah.5:20)

      Corruption is seen in Nigeria and many countries  as destructive and many people blame such act on the government but when you come to various organizations and businesses it is still those same people that will engage in crimes and untruthful manipulations just to gain more money or secure their jobs. It is difficult to find an upright system. 

      The truth is that when a believer who does not indulge in exam malpractice during his school hours and overcome all the rebuke and persecution he/she would have already trained his/herself to be a man of truth in the society and will show integrity and uprightness wherever he finds himself because of the foundation he built back in school because for us to change this system we must stand for the truth and if we are more in any organization then the growth and development of the society will increase because underdevelopment in a country only exit where corruption, and selfish pursuit for money which push people to lie and commit crime. 

      Nigeria is a country of beautiful policies but no implementation, student taught good ethics in school but it all changes with no manifestation when they join the system of evil. A Christian who finds it difficult to stand for the truth in exam conduct will find it difficult not to compromise when persecuted or offered such ill practice.

4. BUILDS A STUDENT TO STUDY HIS BOOKS MORE BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE CANNOT CHEAT

            A Christian who shuns exam malpractice even copy/paste  will always read his book and study hard because he knows they is no alternative in the exam hall. This will help him to be more intelligent and profound in his course and if he forgets any answer he depends on God and trust in what he has wrote already. Research has it that student who mind their business in the exam hall always ends well because of positive steps in self determination and hard work they put in studying  which make them pass well and become more profound in their course of study.

     The main reason why the world still leave in darkness and corruption is a normal practice in the society is that men who stands for the truth are scarce. In fact the revival that will sweep across  the church in the last days will not just bring economic growth and development or salvation but rising of men who will stand for the truth and execute righteousness in the society and will change the world systems and draw nations for God. Righteousness or Christian living to God’s word is not just a doctrine or religious philosophy but a lifestyle which shows the life of God’s written laws on earth.
